thoughts on the page
Journalling in all its forms seems to be a lost art now. We're all so used to writing our thoughts in shortform snippets that writing a long, engaging post about anything feels impossible now.
I like how blogging brings that back, just having a space to write out your thoughts on the page without character limits, or worrying about engagement. Our thoughts are out there for the world to see, but we don't even pause to reflect on them.
Hell, people will write hundreds of posts a week about nothing at all and those thoughts, those slices of personality will just be buried with the quantity of it. A blog or a journal is limited, there's only so many entries you can write a day, so when you write something down for a blog, you actually think about what you're doing.
In a way, blogging gives us back the ability to reflect. No algos, no followers baying for specific content, just you and your thoughts and whoever comes across it later. Kinda poetic, if you think about it.
